About

From a small Czech village to a village of mothers.

I discovered my passion for babies and childcare at an early age, growing up in a small village in the Czech Republic.

I received my degree in Pediatric Nursing and worked in the pediatric ER before accepting a position in the United States as an au pair. After arriving here I quickly realized that women lacked the village and family aspect of pregnancy and motherhood support.

In 2000 I founded the Motherhood Center, a haven for mothers, turning a lifelong dream into reality. Today I’m recognized as an expert in pregnancy and early-stage child development, and I’ve delivered keynote addresses for local and national conferences and women’s organizations.

I hold committee and board positions on several non-profit organizations around the Houston area, focused on helping women and babies. In my free time I enjoy golfing, reading, quality time with family and friends, and traveling with my husband.
